About Department

    The Department of B. Com Professional Accounting of K.S. Rangasamy College of Arts & Science, Tiruchengode was established in the year 2020. The main aim of a B.Com. (Professional Accounting) course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in accounting and other related fields, with a focus on preparing them for professional certifications like Chartered Accountancy (CA), Certified Management Account (CMA), Company Secretary (CS) and other accounting-related roles. We provide a strong foundation in basic accounting concepts & principles, company accounts, financial management, taxation, auditing and other key areas. Beyond the classroom, students benefit from participating in workshops, industry seminars, and collaborative projects, fostering leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication. This comprehensive approach ensures that graduates of the B. Com Professional Accounting program are well-prepared, confident professionals ready to excel in their careers. The Department has built up a strong Alumni network and many of Alumni are supporting us for Internship, Guest lecture and Placement.
